Exploring Atlantis Resort - Nassau, Bahamas

SHARKS! Okay, if you have read or followed any of my posts - you might know i'm completely obsessed with sharks (I even have a shark tracker downloaded on my phone - with my favorite sharks liked and followed). So, I was so excited to finally visit Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas to ride the shark slide!

You hop in an inner-tube, alone or with a friend, and the slide takes you down twists and turns in the dark, before plunging you through the shark tank - eye to eye with the sharks.

TO BE CLEAR - you don't actually get in the same water as the sharks. I was really worried before getting on the slide about the sharks biting at me, but no worries - you are contained in your tube!

Atlantis was really a beautiful resort. You have to either be staying at the resort or get a day pass to get in (around $200 per person for the day). I was visiting over the Christmas holiday - so the resort was decorated beautifully down every hallway.
